Visual Effects Society 11th Annual Awards

11th Annual Visual Effects Society Awards were held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and I was lucky enough to once again be their Announcer (VOG).

We pre-recorded ALL of the roll-ins of the various categories and nominees and then I announced all of the intros for the celebrity’s and special guest live.

Filmmakers, celebrities, producers and guests joined more than a thousand attendees from the visual effects industry for the sold-out gala – which honored director Ang Lee with the VES Visionary Award, presented by Dennis Muren, and Richard Edlund with the Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by Harrison Ford.

Event host was Mark DeCarlo.

11th Annual VES Awards

Chris Gregory and “Hell’s Kitchen”

It’s not “What’s cooking… but rather who’s cooking?“

Chris Gregory, that’s who.

Well, not actually cooking, but… I recently I had the pleasure of appearing on the awesome cooking show “Hell’s Kitchen” with Chef Gordon Ramsay.

These Chefs are amazing. AND, what a night it was for sure. Chef Gordon Ramsay was a very cool guy too.

I can’t tell much more about it here yet because it won’t air until about March or April of 2013, but let’s just say it’s gonna be a surprising “in the ring adventure” for the finalists who “battle it out” in this episode ending the season.

Airing throughout November are various TV spots for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

NBC/Universal secured Chris Gregory for this new spot promoting St. Jude’s “Day of Giving” which is on November 28th, 2012.
